Samuel L Jackson would never throw an ultimatum at Lucas about Light Saber colors. SLJ said that when he heard he had a chance to be in the movie, his jaw dropped the the floor, and that he was honored to even be considered for the part, let alone actually getting it. He jumped at the chance to be in Star Wars like flies on shit dude. Lucas could've said that he was going to be an extra playing a bar tender and he still would've took it.

According to a Star Wars insider magazine that a friend of mine got when Samuel L. Jackson was given the part he said that he'd do it provided he got a non-traditional light sabre colour(ie. not green or blue). It looks like George agreed.

true..but if you read the novels this is actually true..this guy,so called starkiller,real name galen malek, was the son of a jedi master whom vader killed in the extermination of the jedi. if you play the game it actually has the same story..you may think the guy is overpowered with the force..but it is actually written in the novels that this guy had the potential to defeat both vader and the emperor..he is actually the key character why the rebel alliance was formed
